Electronics & Communication Engineering :
THE IMPORTANCE : Across the World, Electronics is the fastest growing field and form the economic core of many nations like Japan, Korea, Taiwan etc. Electronics system are being widely used today in Almost every walk of life, be it consumer electronics, telecommunication, automobile, industrial process control, testing and measurement, medicine, defense, computer etc.
THE CAPABLE MENTORS : The Department is headed by Prof. Rakesh Sharma, M. Tech., Ph.D.* Along with a team of 31 well qualified & experienced faculty members out of which 12 Faculties are M.E. / M. Tech. The department is proud to possess experienced post graduate and dedicated team of senior faculty members. All the faculty members are progressive & highly motivated and adopts advanced teaching methodology like OHP & LCD Projector etc. Prof. V. S. Chauhan is associated with the department as a Professor Incharge and the students are taking benefits of his experience and technical research work.
INDUSTRY / TECHNICAL PARTNERSHIPS : The department is Enthusiastically exploring all possible areas to give additional input for the technical development of students. In this area the department has signed a MOU with many companies. The MOU is aimed to develop and share the technology available for latest embedded system designing for academic and industrial use.
DEPARTMENTAL SOCIETIES :
The department has its own Students Society named "FACE" (Federation of Active Communication Engineer). The society organize various technical as well as cultural activities. It also helps for placement of students in different industries in association with College Training & Placement Cell.
LABORATORIES : There are eight laboratories with latest advance equipments in the department. These labs are managed by well qualified and technically sound Lab Staff under the close supervision of a faculty incharge for respective laboratory.
-
Electronic Lab-I : Students study basic electronics like characteristics of BJT, FET, R. C. couple Amplifier, Audio Frequency amplifier, inverting & noninverting amplifier Wein’ Bridge, and R.C. phase shift Oscillators Attenuators, Equalizers etc. using their respective kits in the labs.
-
Electronics Lab-II : Designing and assembling of PCB, Procedure of soldering, function of Multimeter, study of LDR and LED, Photo Diodes and Phoyto voltic Cells, using advance kits and assemblies.
-
Digital Electronic Lab : Study of various counters, Logic GATE, Study Shift Register to I and I-to-V Converters, Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog, TTL to CMOS and CMOS to TTL, astable and Bi-stable Multi vibrators using transistor, Mono-stable Multimeter using 555, Multiplexes and De-Multiplexes, Schmitt’s Trigger, Binary to Decimal encoder and Decoder, CMOS chart, Voltage Comparator using 741 etc.
-
