Event Description

IET Alwar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi for transfer of technology of manufacturing Microwave and Radio Frequency (RF) components on 03 April 2010. A fully equipped RF Lab having capabilities to Design, Simulate, Fabricate and Testify the RF components has been developed with the collaboration of Centre for Applied Research in Electronics (CARE), IIT Delhi under this MoU at IET Alwar.

 

The Lab is equipped with globally acclaimed professional quality software, photo-lithography, and Vector Network Analyzer and Spectrum analyzer. In future, this lab will prove to be of prime importance for students of B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. Scholars for training, research and development in the field of RF technology of up to 20 GHz. This lab is unique in the Rajasthan state with the technology of certain components being unique in the country. This lab is useful for commercial wireless communication applications.

We have advance IntelliSuite Industry Leading MEMS Software; IntelliSuite is a tightly integrated design environment that will link your entire MEMS organization together. Built to scale from a point tool to an organization-wide tool, IntelliSuite unifies various engineering and manufacturing tasks into a single living design environment.

 

We have COMSOL software for Multiphysics Modeling and Simulation, COMSOL Multiphysics is an engineering, design, and finite element analysis software environment for the modeling and simulation of any physics-based system.

 

We have most advanced ultra-portable handheld Vector Network Analyzer and Spectrum analyzer which can measure Measures all 4 S-parameters, quad-display Return loss, cable loss, VSWR, Smith Chart, gain, and optional Time Domain

 

We have advance photo-lithography processing technology for fabricating MICs components. The practical problems, important precautions and the optimized processing parameters for the development of MICs are done in this laboratory.

 

In This lab we have develop Various RF components like :  Antennas (All type), Branch line couplers, Directional coupler, Hybrid Ring Coupler, Power Dividers, Low pass filter, High Pass filter, Band stop filter, Band pass filter etc. and design other components for R&D purpose and as per the requirements of industries.

Location & Area : The institute is located at RIICO Matsya Industrial Area, Alwar, in the sylvan surrounding of Aravali Hills and woods. It is approximately, 160 Kms from New Delhi via Gurgaon-Dharuhera-Tijara-Alwar Route & Approx. 150 Kms from Jaipur. The institute is spread over in a total area of 10 acres and the whole campus has been beautifully landscaped with extensive greenery & plantation to make it a pollution free environment.
