SPIC-MACAY : The society known for promotion of Indian Culture amongst youth has opened a chapter at IET and with the keen interest and involvement of our Executive Director Dr. Manju Agarwal in the aims and goals of Spic-Macay she has been nominated as the Chairperson of Spic-Macay at Alwar.. Major activities undertaken under this society are:
- An Orientation Programme on “Significance of SPIC-MACAY” by the members of SPIC-MACAY.
- A religious discourse on “Bhagawat Geeta” organized under the banner of ISKON. Its Chief Dayalu Nitai Das spoke on the subject.
- A "Katthak Dance" was organized under the banner of SPIC-MACAY, presented by Padamshri Uma Sharma.
- A programme on “Sufi Kalaam” was organized under the banner of SPIC-MACAY, artists were famous “Wadali Brothers - Pooran Chand Payarelal.
- A programme on Gujrati Tribal Folk (Sidigoma Group) was organized under the aegis of SPIC-MACAY.
- Gazal, Quawwali, and Shayari by Iqbal Banda Nawaji Group during Virasat-06 on 3rd September 2006.
- A programme organized by Partho Sarthi, Sarod Vadak on 11 th November, 2006.
- Rendition of “Kabir Vani” by Sh. Swami Vivekanand Bharti and Brother in UTSAV series’07 on 16th January, 2007.
